Medication and Blood Products

Medication and blood product administration is a critical part of nursing care. Safe and effective administration of these products requires knowledge of their indications, contraindications, side effects, and potential interactions. Nurses must also be able to properly assess patients for signs and symptoms of reactions and know how to manage them.
