Tinea pedis is fungal infection that occurs between the toes and may spread to the soles of the feet, nails, and skin of the toes. It is commonly known as “athlete’s foot.” Tinea cruris, also known as “jock itch,” spread over the inner and upper surfaces of the thighs. Tinea manus is fungal infection of the hand. Tinea capitis is fungal infection of the scalp.
