The nurse is the first responder after a child is pulled unresponsive from the pool. There is no pulse and no breathing. The nurse sends someone for the AED, instructs another person to call 911, and begins chest compressions. By looking transversely at the chest, select the depth to which the nurse compresses the chest, if each line represents an inch of compression.
