Wet floors create a hazard that must be immediately addressed. A patient lifting device should be charged but does not create as immediate of a hazard as a wet floor. An open electrical wire could be a hazard, but, as the wire is unplugged and the hazard has been identified, the wet floor is a greater hazard. The threat described by the patient with paranoia is unlikely to be a realistic hazard. While it could be further investigated, the wet floor presents a more immediate, real hazard.
