It can be safely used in patients after cardiac surgery and those experiencing heart failure. Digoxin is routinely prescribed for atrial fibrillation and atrial flutter; it has a short half-life. Lisinopril is indicated in the presence of high blood pressure and prevents vasoconstriction. Amlodipine also acts as an antihypertensive agent.
